2018 was the inaugural year for Craft Beer Week in Great Falls. The three local breweries and the Downtown Great Falls Association wanted to offer the community a way to learn about and enjoy the growing craft beer industry.

Kick-off Street Party: Enjoy an evening featuring Oktoberfest style beers from around MT, including some local ciders and seltzers too. Live music by Lester's Mystery Oil and German themed food from 6:30 to 9 PM on Central Ave in front of Mighty Mo Brew Co.

Tap Takeovers: Join several breweries from around MT as they come to Great Falls for an evening of Tap Takeovers to showcase their great MT made craft beer! Locations include Elevation 3330, featuring Phillipsburg Brewery, Halftime Sports Bar featuring Draught Works. Tracy's Diner, The Sting, The Block, Mighty Mo Brew Co.

Craft Beer Golf Scramble: Grab a teammate, hit some balls, and enjoy your favorite craft beer along the course during the Craft Beer Golf Scramble on Saturday, Sept 19. This event is a 9 hole, shotgun start scramble with 2 person teams. Register your team at the Mighty Mo before Sept. 16 and get ready to enjoy your favorite craft beers from Black Eagle Brewing, Mighty Mo Brew Co. and Jeremiah Johnson Brewing while you golf! Team registration is $125, discounts offered for Hickory Swing Season Pass holders.

Craft Beer Mile and 6k: Wrap up the weekend with a fun run at Gibson Park, with beer of course! Participants of the Beer Mile will drink a 12 oz. local craft beer before each lap of the 1/4 mile course....yep that's 4 beers to complete the mile! If you're not feeling that brave you can grab a teammate and split the race. There will also be a 6k run with a beer option- the 6k course is 3 laps around Gibson Park, with a beer before each lap if you opt-in during your registration - register for the Beer Mile and the 6k at runsignup.com.
